Join us in a concentrated, one-day class in classical Okinawan self-defense. Perfect for the individual who always wanted to learn to defend themselves but never had the time. In a small group setting, participants in the surrounding dojo area can come out to learn joint manipulation & nerve-striking practices from the art of Ryukyu Kempo Karate. Our seminar is structured to give everyone supportive one-on-one attention while teaching the necessary skills to fend off a potentially dangerous situation.

Our Ryukyu Kempo system uses unique practices found in ancient Ryukyuan empty-hand forms, weapons, and mid-traditional sparring practices. It is known as the “old way of karate,” instilling our martial art not as a sport but as a self-defense art from hundreds of years of study.
