The keikogi is the traditional uniform worn for training in Karate and related martial art forms. Developed in the late 19th Century, historians believe that the original karate uniform was a variation of the traditional firefighter’s jacket of the time. This easy-care, permanent press fabric is woven from a perfect blend of 55% cotton and 45% polyester creating a comfortable lightweight 6 oz. uniform. Featuring Ultra Channeling Ventilation™ for breathability. Available in 2 traditional colors (black or white), each set contains a jacket, pants, and a white belt. 6 oz. uniform has an elastic drawstring waistband. Other color options are not available at Mike’s Ryukyu Kempo Karate & Kobudo™.
