In the late 1950’s Dr. A.G. Jacobs, a practicing dentist and founder of SafeTGard began producing mouthguards using denture lining silicone materials. In the early 1960s, Dr. Jacobs pioneered boiling water mouthguards and was granted three patents for his innovations. In addition, SafeTGard was the innovator of mouthguards in colors. Today, SafeTGard offers FDA Approved Colorant and Latex Free mouthguards in more styles and options than anyone.

Wearers should store their mouthguards in mouthguard cases to keep them sanitary between uses. The included mouthguard case holds one single mouthguard.
