Graduate to our highest honor by earning your Black Belt, a universal symbol of mastering hard work, discipline, and self-defense.

– Tests conducted locally, in a traditional setting, at Mike’s Ryukyu Kempo Karate & Kobudo™
– Open only to Annual School Members and their guests
– A non-refundable, pre-paid belt test fee applies
– Must complete all previous underbelt requirements to test

In a series of trials, students are tested on their mastery of multiple Ryukyu Kempo disciplines and their actions from years of training. This traditional event tests our blackbelt hopefuls’ physical strengths, balance, and control, as well as their mental attitude and martial art character.
